Paawan Bansal is a well-known name in the Indian poker circuit. This poker pro from Gurugram ranks 11th in India’s All Time Money List. This poker powerhouse has recorded his first live cash in an India Poker Championship (IPC) event. The pro finished 8th for a sum of over ₹2 Lakh in the ₹30,000 No Limit Hold’em – Big Game event. There was no looking back for Bansal from there. 

This Indian player has participated in series like Asian Poker Tour (APT), Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), World Poker Tour (WPT), PokerStars Championship, World Series of Poker (WSOP), Rounders Poker Championship, European Poker Tour (EPT), Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT), Baazi Poker Tour (BPT) among others.

Talking about Bansal’s standing in the biggest poker series in the universe —WSOP, the Indian pro has $537,597 in total earnings so far from 26 cashes. With no bracelets or rings, it would be interesting to see how Bansal can turn things around in the coming time.

Be it WSOP in Las Vegas or WSOP Online, Bansal has marked his attendance there. If we look at the WSOP records, Bansal has scored his career-best live cash in WSOP 2018 when he finished runner-up in The Closer Event 73 for a payday of over ₹3 Crore.

When it comes to the EPT, Bansal’s maiden appearance at the series led to him taking home a pay cheque of close to ₹14 Lakh. The pro finished 133rd at the €5,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – EPT Main Event (Event #25).

In the Asian circuit, Bansal has been to stops like Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Macau. The Indian poker pro registered two wins. At the Macau Poker Cup in August 2017 Bansal finished first for close to ₹8 Lakh and in December 2015, he nailed Nations Team Event for around ₹62K. Bansal’s total live earnings have crossed the ₹6 Crore mark with him being determined to bump up that number.
