WSOP 2023 ME: Aditya Agarwal, Santhosh Suvarna, Nikita Luther Among Others Qualify For Day 2

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2023 edition has been going on in full swing at the Paris and Horseshoe in Las Vegas. And with the ultimate Main Event underway, the action and intensity at the WSOP are skyrocketing. The four starting Day 1 flights recently concluded with a total of 7,166 players making it to Day 2abc of the coveted event.

WSOP 2023 Main Event Entries

The $10,000 buy-in event welcomed a record-breaking 9,350 entries battling it out for the World Champion title. The break-up of entries and survivors over the course of the four Day 1 flights is as follows:

Day 1A

• Entries: 1,039
• Surviving entries: 721

Day 1B

• Entries: 1,118
• Surviving entries: 819

Day 1C

• Entries: 3,080
• Surviving entries: 2,326

Day 1D

• Entries: 4,100
• Surviving entries: 3,300

Among these 7,166 entries are 14 Indian players who have progressed to Day 2abc. Leading the Indian pack is Anil Adiani with a stack of 154,700 chips, followed by Nishant Sharma, with a stack of 133,000 chips and Aditya Agarwal, with 131,000 chips. Similar to Day 1, Day 2 of the WSOP Main Event will have four flights, namely 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D. Survivors from Day 1A, 1B and 1C combined will battle it out in Day 2A, 2B and 2C, respectively. Likewise, survivors from Day 1D will play Day 2D.
