WSOP 2023: 3 Indians Progress To Day 3 Of Millionaire Maker

The Indian contingent has been making headlines at the ongoing World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2023. So far, several Indian pros have cashed and even made it to the final table. The latest event where the Indians are making their presence felt is Event #53: $1,500 Millionaire Maker.

The $1,500 buy-in event created history by surpassing the 10,000 entries mark and recorded a total of 10,430 entrants. It crushed the previous record of 8,809 entries recorded at the 2019 WSOP. The event has listed a total prize pool of $13,905,360. Day 2 of the event, which saw the top 2,322 entries battle it out, recently concluded with the top 327 players bagging and tagging for Day 3. More than 1,500 players have made it in the money thanks to the large entry field. 

Among the 327 players to progress to Day 3 are 11 Indian pros. Leading the Indian contingent is Kunal Patni, with the 96th-highest stack overall of 1,630,000 chips. No other Indian is among the top 100 stacks.

Apart from these pros, PokerBaazi Team Pros Muskan Sethi and Abhishek Goindi, Gamezy Poker Pro Nishant Sharma, Neel Joshi, Paawan Bansal, Avneesh Munjal, Deepankur Gupta, Sanat Mehrotra were also grinding on Day 2 of this event. However, they couldn’t bag.
