Paawan Bansal’s unimpressive outing on Day 1A of $1,000 Mystery Millions

Poker pro Paawan Bansal was grinding in this event. However, things didn’t pan out well for him, as he was busted out at the 143 spot. The Indian poker pro failed to progress to Day 2. Many other notable players, including Farah Galfond, Jim Jeffries, Dan Shak, and Josh Arieh, Barry Shulman, Lexy Gavin-Mather, and Vanessa Kade, failed to make it past the qualifying flight. The abovementioned list also features former Jamie Gold and Ryan Riess, with the pair being WSOP Main Event Champions earlier.

The money bubble was formed rather quickly (at Level 17), which saw fast and furious eliminations later on. With three final flights left to be played, players still stand three more chances to qualify for Day 2, which will begin on 1st June. Players who make it to Day 2 will stay in the hunt for the mystery bounties and the guaranteed top prize of $1,000,000.

Currently, United States’ Francis Anderson is leading the pack of survivors from Day 1A. Anderson will battle it out with 2,750,000 chips on Day 2. He will be looking to add yet another title to his resume, with more than $2,000,000 in live cashes in his account.
