EPT Barcelona 2023 Main Event: Paawan Bansal Is Eliminated

Paawan Bansal’s journey in the EPT Barcelona 2023 Main Event ended in the 133rd spot for a payday of €15,550.

Indian poker pro Paawan Bansal is currently grinding in the Day 3 of the European Poker Tour (EPT) 2023 Main Event. The poker pro survived a tough table and made it to Day 3. 

Bansal currently has a stack of 155,000 chips and is battling it out among some noted players in the international poker circuit. 

He shared an Instagram post where he mentioned about surviving a table from hell and making it to Day 3 of the EPT Barcelona 2023 Main Event.

Bansal had also shared an Instagram story about surviving a table alongside online poker dynamo Niklas Astedt. The Indian player shared a picture of him sitting next to the Swedish player and how he escaped locking horns with the poker powerhouse. 

Apart from Bansal, there were other Indian pros as well who were grinding in the EPT Barcelona 2023 Main Event. The tournament saw Ankit Ahuja and Apoorva Goel bust on Day 2. Indian-origin player Nipun Java was also eliminated.

EPT Barcelona 2023 Main Event

Day 3 has 303 survivors from Day 2 with the overall entries standing at 2,120. The winner of this coveted Main Event will take home a pay cheque of €1,488,000 from the massive prize pool of €10,282,000. 

The minimum sum that the players will take home for making Day 3 is €8,850. This event also saw poker pros like Maria Ho and Patrik Antonius make Day 3.

Coming to the bubble burst on Day 2, it was a long one with Juan Maceiras turning into the bubble boy of the tournament.

Eduard Barsegyan was the chip lead moving into Day 3 but now has slipped to the second position in chip counts as Ka Kwan Lau took over the numero uno spot.
