When you are placed as the second runner-up at the Asian Poker Tour’s (APT) Player of the Series, people in the poker circuit take notice. This happened to Ankit Jajodia who finished 3rd in the Player of the Series race at APT Summer Series Festival Hanoi 2022. 

This poker pro who loves travelling has been grinding in both online and live poker tournaments. Jajodia was also a part of team Delhi Czars in the Poker Sports League (PSL) Season 5 and has made a mark in the Indian poker fraternity. Talking about this player from Faridabad, Jajodia’s live poker adventures were recorded from December 2018 onwards. He played PokerStars LIVE Manila Megastack 10 Kickoff Event and finished 6th for PHP 170,000 ($3,220 / ₹2,25,400).

From there it was no looking back for this Indian pro. Be it Philippines, Vietnam or Cambodia, Jajodia has played in the Asian games extensively. This led to his total live earnings cross the $200k mark with his best live cash of close to $40k coming from APT Summer Festival Hanoi Main Event 2022. When it comes to taking down trophies, Jajodia has two from Manila Megastack 12 (2019 edition). This poker pro has also shipped a Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) Xpress event, taking down the 15k DPT Xpress Main Event for a sum of ₹3.25 Lakh in Goa.

Apart from Hold’em, Jajodia also grinds in Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) and is pretty good too. He was placed second in the PLO event of the Baazi Poker Tour (BPT) in 2019. He took a pay cheque of over ₹3 Lakh for a stellar performance. The Indian pro soon took to the world stage but via the virtual felts. Jajodia played World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online in 2022 and cashed in two tournaments totalling to $5,802 in earnings.

Jajodia’s online stats on home turf are also impressive with over 50 titles to his credit. His biggest online cash grab came in Sunday Millionaire on Spartan Poker. Jajodia added over ₹8 Lakh to his bankroll from this win. Going by his steady performances in live and online it would be interesting to see how Jajodia takes his poker journey ahead.
