Indian Players To Look Out For At APT Hanoi 2023 


The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Hanoi 2023 has kick-started today at the VSOP Club in Hanoi, Vietnam. As expected, several Indian players have landed in Hanoi to grind in this exciting series.

APT Hanoi 2023 runs from 3rd to 12th February 2023. It has a guarantee of VND 10,000,000,000 (₹3,49,40,000) that’s up for grabs in 10 days. The highlight of the series is the Main Event, which will have a buy-in of VND 27,500,000 (₹96,057).

The action-packed schedule of APT Hanoi 2023 is loaded with 40 different events, which the players can try their hands at. Among the Indian contingent, Spartan Poker pro Zarvan Tumboli, Kunal Patni, Jasven Saigal, and Alok Birewar.

Spartan Poker pro and India’s first and only female World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Nikita Luther, India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 Main Event winner Siddhanth Kripalani are also expected to see grinding in the series later.

Former APT winners Shadul Parthasarathi, Tumboli, and Ankit Jajodia will be participating in the $4,600 buy-in Natural8 Superstar Invitational taking place on Saturday, 4th February 2023. Parthasarathi is the defending champion of the APT Vietnam 2022 Main Event, Tumboli is the proud title holder of APT Vietnam 2022 Deepstack Hyper Turbo and PLO titles, while Jajodia finished at the second runner-up spot at the APT Vietnam 2022 Player of the Series race.

The last successful edition of APT in Hanoi took place between the 12th to 24th July 2022. Several Indian players like Zarvan Tumboli, Vaibhav Sharma, Ritwik Khanna, Shardul Parthasarathi, Rubin Labroo, Kanchan Sharma, Ankit Jajodia, Deepak Bothra, Ankit Wadhawan, Alok Birewar, Akshay Nasa, Siddarth Singhvi, Ashish Munot, and Laksh Pal Singh among others were seen grinding in the series in 2022. We can expect all these players to play in this February 2023 edition too.
