The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Vietnam Hanoi Loyal 2022 is turning out to be one of the most successful poker series for the Indian contingent. Zarvan Tumboli is capturing the hearts and trophies (of course!) of the Indian poker circuit in Vietnam as he bags another APT title. Tumboli fought the good fight and came out victorious after shipping the APT Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) title for VN₫ 70,900,000. This is Tumboli’s second APT Vietnam 2022 win as he shipped the Deep Stack Hyper Turbo for VN₫ 73,060,000.
This is no small feat for the player given that this was his second trophy win in just under 24 hours! Commenting on his win, Tumboli said, “I am speechless. Shipping two events within 24 hours is something even I, myself can’t believe.”
We can understand Zarvan, and we’re proud of you champ!
Just after winning the Deep Stack Hyper Turbo title last evening, Zarvan treated himself to a relaxing spa and massage session and it seems like it worked. 😉 His wife made sure to capture this moment on her Instagram stories. Here’s what she shared:
This marks Tumboli’s third win in Vietnam over the past month, as he also shipped the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Vietnam 2022 Main Event for $131,394 (~ ₹1.01 Crore).
The event had a buy-in of VN₫ 11,000,000 (~ $475) and a total of 17 entries were recorded. The prize pool of the event was VN₫ 164,900,000 (~ $7,100). The top three places were paid with Tumboli clinching the title for VN₫ 70,900,000. The runner up of the event was Vietnamese player Nguyen Phuong who took home VN₫ 53,000,000 in prize money. The third place prize went to Anthony Abram from Australia. He walked away with VN₫ 41,000,000.
