Huy Pham

When heads up began between Pham and Nguyen, they both agreed to play till the end. Nguyen exclaimed, “This is my best friend but no deal!”

Pham had 48 BB against Nguyen’s 22 BB and was in the lead. Nguyen nearly evened the stack, but Pham widened the gap. After half an hour of heads up, Pham finally eliminated Nguyen.

Pham had 8 8 while Nguyen’s had A 5 . The board opened to J 9 3 on the flop and 7 came on the turn. This gave Nguyen a flush draw, however, the river K did not complete it and Pham won with his Snowmen.
