The World Poker Tour (WPT) Cambodia is running full steam at Nagaworld and there’s some intense action unfolding at the venue. When it comes to Indian pros grinding at the series, we have Dhaval Mudgal, Amit Kaushik, Zarvan Tumboli, Aayush Arya, Vikaash Shah, Rajashekhar Puttamsetty, Maulik Shukla and Chakshu Deep Raina battling hard to grab top titles.
Among the Indians, Mudgal is now grinding in Day 2 of the Mystery Bounty tournament. The Pocket52 pro found his first bag and ITM (in the money) of the year at this event and happily shared the update on his Instagram Stories. Apart from Mudgal, Kaushik had a good run in the Championship Warm Up event.
The IIT Roorkee graduate was leading the pack of survivors moving into Day 2 of the event with a stack of 822,000. Kaushik finished 12th in this $800 buy-in tournament which generated a final prize pool of $150,000. The top 62 places out of the 489 total entries (289 unique) were paid and the top prize was $62,029.
Coming back to Mudgal, the pro has already scored a bounty in the tournament and will look to score more to maximise his winnings from the Mystery Bounty event.
Talking about the WPT Cambodia 2024 tournament series, this event will run from 17th to 30th January 2024 with the Championship event running from 25th to 29th January. The much awaited Championship event comes with $3,500 buy-in and a whopping guarantee of $1 Million.

After Cambodia, WPT will be headed for WPT Prime Aix-en-Provence Championship at Pasino Grand. In May, WPT will be hosted in Crown Poker Club, Hanoi for the WPT Vietnam Passport to World Championship.
