Poker Dream 11 Malaysia: Main Event Worth 5 Million GTD Awaits!

Zarvan Tumboli, the ‘Bawa Power’ in action as he is fondly called, made history by winning the Poker Dream 8 Malaysia #12 Main Event, earning MYR 888,000 (~₹1.55 Crore) in February 2024. Tumboli became the first Indian to engrave his name on the Poker Dream trophy as he overpowered 2,219 entries.

Poker Dream 9

Following Zarvan Tumboli’s Main Event success at Poker Dream 8 Malaysia, another young Indian lad, Harsh Dev Jhirmiria, a 23-year-old poker streamer from Mumbai, made his mark at Poker Dream by winning Event #11: Mystery Bounty beating China’s Tong Long in heads up. Competing against 575 participants, he earned MYR 288,000 (~₹50.67 Lakh), in which MYR 186,000 was from prize money and MYR 98,000 from bounties. This is Jhirmiria’s biggest career win!

Poker Dream 10

The latest Indian pro to ship a Poker Dream title is Nishant Sharma, who shipped the Poker Dream 10 Vietnam Main Event, taking home VN₫ 3.757 Billion (~₹1.23 Crore). A total 752 players registered as Sharma conquered his dream by beating Vietnam’s Ngo Quoc Phu, who secured the second spot. Sharma is now the second Indian after Zarvan Tumboli to win a Poker Dream Main Event trophy. Raghav Bansal from India secured fourth place in the same event, earning VN₫ 1.321 Billion (~₹43.43 Lakh).

Dhaval Mudgal won Event #21: Mini Main Event, taking home VN₫ 368 Million (~₹12.10 Lakh). With total 151 entries to compete with, Mudgal won the event and adding the 10th title overall and second live title for the year to his name.
