Poker Dream 10 Vietnam: Dhaval Mudgal Nails Mini Main Event


We have yet another Indian pro shipping the top title at the Poker Dream 10 Vietnam. Well-known player from the Indian poker fraternity, Dhaval Mudgal has shipped the top honour at the Mini Main Event. Previously, Mudgal had shared an update on his Instagram Stories about making the final table. 

The pro spinned the Mini Main Event in his favour and added to his trophy tally. Mudgal had a payday of VND 368,000,000 for his top place finish. The Indian pro beat a Chinese player called He Jiaqi. The runner-up added a sum of VND 249,376,000 to his bankroll for his second place finish.

Talking about this much awaited Mini Main Event, this tourney came with a buy-in of VND 12,000,000 (~ $515) and the final prize pool stood at VND 1,581,876,000 (~$62,4100). The top 23 places were paid with the min-cash being VND 18,300,000. The total number of entries in the field stood at 151.

Apart from Mudgal, an Indian player named Vikas Waghray was the last player who got paid. Banker-turned-pro Kunal Patni was also grinding in the Mini Main Event. He finished at the 21st position for a sum of VND 18,300,000.

Coming to the winner of the Mini Main Event, the Pocket52 Pro had also made Day 2 of the Mystery Hunter. Apart from him, Patni and Alok Birewar also found a bag for Day 2 in this tourney. 

When it comes to the Main Event, we have Nishant Sharma who created history by clinching the title in the prestigious event for a sum of VND 3.7 Billion. The poker pro was the chip leader heading into the final table of the highly anticipated tournament. Not only Sharma, poker veteran Raghav Bansal also made the final table. The former DPT Main Event winner took the fourth spot after Sharma eliminated Bansal who had a payday of VND 1,320,900,000.
