Game Of Gold: Team Clubs With Daniel Negreanu Eliminated

Episode 4 of Game of Gold saw the elimination of Team Clubs consisting of Daniel Negreanu, Jason Koon, Michael Soyza and Kevin Martin. At the end of round 1, all the teams sat down for the end of round 1 tally and to witness the first ever elimination. 

The top place finishers with 219 points is Team Spades. Second place was secured by Team Hearts with 198 points. The third place went to Team Diamonds for 178 points. 

Team Clubs With Daniel Negreanu Eliminated

Team Clubs with some heavy-weight names couldn’t survive the competition put forth by other teams and had to depart from the poker reality show presented by Poker After Dark. 

While talking in their post exit interview, Team Clubs mentions how none of them won an all-in, and how the cards were not favouring them. 

Despite having a six-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner and a 10-time Triton Poker Series champion, the team could not make it past the first round of this thrilling show. 

With all members of Team Clubs looking disappointed, members of the other teams looked delighted as some tough opponents were now out of the game which means they have a better shot at winning the title. 

This sentiment was voiced by female poker pro Maria Ho in her video snippet from Episode 4 after the elimination was announced. 

Team Spades Takes First Place

Team Spade which has German pro Fedor Holz, Charlie Carrel, Indian pro Nikita Luther and YoH ViraL were seen hugging each other with cheer joy as they nailed the top spot at the end of round 1. 

Luther’s performance in the Sit and Go round has been widely appreciated. As India’s only female pro to have won a WSOP bracelet, Luther is making headlines at Game of Gold and we cannot wait to see what she does next.
