Nikita Luther To Feature On Poker After Dark 

Nikita Luther is one of India’s first-ever female poker pros who played a massive role in putting India on the world poker map. She is the only female poker player from the country to have won a World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.

The Delhi-based poker dynamite is all set to represent India at a big stage once again, with the poker pro all set to appear on Poker After Dark. Luther took to the social media platform Instagram to break the news. She shared a picture with Fedor Holz, Yoh Viral and Charlie Carrel while captioning the image with, ‘Just going to leave this here.;#Teaser.; Poker After Dark | GAME OF GOLD. Nov 8.”

Poker After Dark is one of the most-watched poker television programs that debuted in 2007. Despite being taken off air in 2011, it was relaunched a year later and has gained an avid viewership since then.

The upcoming edition of Poker After Dark will see 16 players battle it out to win the grand prize of $456,000. Named Game of Gold, the next Poker After Dark series is all set to be broadcast from 8th November onwards and will be streamed on GGPoker’s YouTube channel.

The opportunity comes soon after Luther was recently as the brand ambassador of Natural8 India. She has been on a roll since the start of 2023 and recorded one of the biggest highlights of her career at WSOP 2023 Main Event. The Indian poker pro registered a deep run and managed a 96th-place finish to earn $78,900, which saw poker legend Phil Hellmuth tweeting about her performance as well. 

Luther is the first Indian player who is invited to be a part of the show. This comes as great news for the national poker circuit as her appearance will open up the doors for other Indian players. It remains interesting to see how well Luther does at the show this time around.
