FTS 3.0 Day 6: Kaji Samsudeen & Vikash Kumar Nail Top Titles


Day 6 of the Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 saw a spectacular night unfold with players flocking to Spartan Poker, PokerHigh, and BLITZPOKER to win big. The FTS 3.0 Big Game event was paused after the final table was set with IOPC Legends winner Amit Gehani aka ‘Kavipri’ leading the pack. Players Kaji Samsudeen and Vikash Kumar grabbed FTS 3.0 titles after some intense drama. Here’s a full report on last night’s action.

FTS #16 – ₹7 Lakh GTD

Excited players made their way to this FTS tournament. With 744 total entries and a buy-in of ₹1,100, the advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed. The final prize pool was ₹7,44,000. Taking a bite from this prize pool were the top 71 places. The min-cash stood at ₹2,827.

Kaji Samsudeen

The final showdown was between player Kaji Samsudeen aka ‘salim’ and two-time IOPC leaderboard winner Bhanu Prakash aka ‘spectre.’ On level 50, Samsudeen had pocket queens while Prakash had pocket tens as hole cards. Prakash went all-in with his pocket tens. This leaderboard champion lost to Samsudeen’s pocket queens when the board opened as [7♠️ 6♠️ A♦️ 8♦️] [J♦️]. Samsudeen took home ₹1,43,592 in tournament winnings and Prakash walked away with ₹90,470 in runner-up position.

FTS #18 – ₹25 Lakh GTD 

Ending the day was FTS #18 with a ₹25 Lakh guarantee. The tournament attracted 756 entries into its fold. Among the slew of entries, only the ones who finished in the top 79 places made the money. The min-cash paid was ₹8,500.

Vikash Kumar aka ‘Davill’ had an advantageous 11,386,352 chip stack. Mystery player ‘PokerQueen1911’ had only 2,221,648 chips. Kumar had pocket fours and ‘PokerQueen1911’ was playing with pocket threes. Both went all-in on the pre-flop. The board opened as [J♠️ 5♦️ Q♥️ Q♦️] [7♥️]. With a higher two pair, Kumar clinched the title spot and added ₹4,79,750 to his bankroll. The runner-up, ‘PokerQueen1911’ cashed ₹3,01,000.
