Daniel Negreanu Was Attacked By Martin Kabrhel At WSOP Paradise?

As shocking as our headline is, we aren’t making it up. We spotted a video on Twitter (now X), where Daniel Negreanu was seen talking to Jeff Platt about his ripped shirt. And what led to the ripped shirt on DNegs?

While narrating his agony about the torn shirt, Negreanu straight away pointed his finger at Martin Kabrhel. This player from Czech Republic is no stranger to controversies and players on the table complaining about him. Don’t forget the acquisition of marking cards with nails that have plagued Kabrhel’s poker reputation. 

Martin Kabrhel ripped Daniel Negreanu’s shirt?

What the hell happened between ‘KidPoker’ and the Prague resident? As per the interview given by DNegs to Platt, Kabrhel reportedly came out with his long claws and tore DNegs’ shirt. But why? Apparently, the six-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner was filming Kabrhel and told him that he will get the latter barred from the tournament (not surprising at all).

DNegs is seen narrating how Kabrhel struck Negreanu on the right side with his long nails. Platt asked about Kabrhel calling his lawyer owing to DNegs’ antics? Well, the Super High Roller Bowl champ wasn’t taking it down either and hit back saying that Kabrhel can call his lawyer. One thing is for sure, that lawyers are running hot and nevermind how the poker games turn out. 

Also, let us shed some light on how DNegs is heard saying loud that Kabrhel tore his $3,500 shirt and how it accounts for ‘abuse’ on his Vlog.

But was this for real or a joke? From what we can see, Negreanu’s shirt was definitely torn. There is no proof of any kind to show Kabrhel actually tore it apart, since he did drop by when Platt was talking to the Poker Hall of Famer.

The commentators were also heard saying that Negreanu needs a tailor, a shirt or even a seamstress. The GGPoker ambassador ends the video by saying he is having a gala time (a blast is what DNegs said) and needs a drink. We can understand why he may need a drink after all that filming, streaming and getting attacked even if it was not serious.
