Ankit Ahuja Finds A Bag In €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour ME

There’s good news for Indian poker fans as poker player Ankit Ahuja found a bag in the €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour 2023 Main Event. Ahuja is the only Indian who progressed ahead. 

He bagged a stack of 498K via flight Day 1D and is among the top five stacks qualifying into Day 2. Another Indian player named Apoorva Goel busted in flight Day1C. 

€1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour 2023 Main Event

Ahuja was among the 459 who were registered for the coveted event. The Main Event flight Day 1D saw 69 survive further into Day 2 and have made it in the money. 

This is Ahuja’s first cash of the European Poker Tour (EPT). It would be interesting to see how Ahuja spins the game in his favour on Day 2. The Indian player is India’s only hope to ship the prestigious title. 

When it comes to Indians grinding in the latest edition of EPT, we know that other than Ahuja and Goel, Jagdeep Singh will also be joining the poker action in Barcelona. We can’t wait to see this well-known pro in action.

Remains to be seen if our Indian pros smash the EPT felts to take down top titles at the ongoing edition of EPT in Barcelona. 

Previously, Nikita Luther made quite the headlines with her poker moves at EPT. In August 2022, the female poker pro finished 16th at the  €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour 2022 Main Event. Luther took home a pay cheque of €27,930 (approximately ₹22,82,458) for her impressive finish. 

Back then it was a record-breaking event as it registered a whopping number of 6,313 players slogging hard for a prize pool of €6,060,480. When it came to the EPT Main Event that year, Luther busted on Level 13 at the hands of Youngshin Im.
