Zombies Esports Disqualified From PUBG Mobile Pro League Arabia Season One

Zombies Esports has been disqualified from PUBG Mobile Pro League: Arabia Season One after one of their team members known as ‘Break’ was caught hacking the tournament. PUBG Mobile’s esports ecosystem has been affected severely by hacking and it had been plaguing the esports community for the last two years. The esports team has increased its effort to identify hackers and the results of the same are visible.

Zombies Esports was the highest-scoring team in the PMPL Arabia tournament. The team was dominant before being banned and was also leading the scoreboards for two weeks consecutively. Zombies Esports was leading the overall points table at PMPL Arabia with 359 points and 207 kills. The team had three highest fraggers in the tournament so far and ‘Break’ topped the charts with 46 frags. As Zombies Esports is now disqualified, the top spot now belongs to Gunz Esports.

‘Break’ was considered to be one of the most influential players in the team. The player has received a competitive ban, which means he might be banned for a year or so. PMPL Arabia Season One is currently heading into its last leg of league play. Arabia is a new region that has been added to the PUBG Mobile Pro League tournament circuit. The winning team of this tournament gets a chance to battle it out on a global stage.

So far, many players have been banned by PUBG Mobile Esports for cheating or hacking in the last few months. ‘Break’ is the first player from the Arabian region to be banned from PMPL Arabia.

PUBG Mobile has a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating and the brand has been fighting against it. In an attempt to curb such practices, players have been asked to install a separate anti-cheat application that works in accordance with the in-game anti-cheat system.
