WPT Day 20: Vishal Bajaj Shipped The Highroller & Cashed A Whopping 21 Lakh In Prize Money

The World Poker Tour (WPT) has been taking place in full swing for the last few days. Yesterday, there were two high-value tournaments that took place, the highroller and the PLO event. The IOPC veteran Vishal Bajaj lifted the Highroller title while Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram shipped the PLO tournament. Highroller – ₹80 Lakh GTD

One of the highest value events in the World Poker Tour series was the Highroller tournament. This event attracted 137 entries in total and a total of 15 players made it in the money. The top 15 players In this ₹5,500 buy-in tournament received a minimum of ₹14,000 in prize money. This event was shipped by Vishal Bajaj aka ‘GigaaBet’ who received prize money of ₹21,60,000.

PLO Bounty – ₹5 Lakh GTD

On Day 20 of the WPT, a PLO bounty tournament took place. This ₹4000 buy-in event had 213 entries in total and well-known player Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram shipped this PLO event. This player received ₹1,59,878 in prize money and had 15 bounties to his name. Shanmughasundaram received ₹51,615 in bounty money.

The advertised guarantee in this event was ₹5 Lakh but it was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹5,75,102. The top 21 players received a minimum of ₹5,176 in prize money.
