Vinay Rajpal Is The IOPC Jan 2023 Leaderboard Champion
Another spectacular edition of the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) (Jan/Feb 2023) had come to an end, with a new winner and a new champion. As the series progressed, all eyes were on two things, namely The Crown and the IOPC leaderboard. And we finally have the winners. ‘The Sachin Tendulkar of poker ‘ Aditya Agarwal took home The Crown, while the leaderboard was nailed by Vinay Rajpal.
The series, which ran between 19th January to 5th February 2023 had an advertised guarantee of ₹43 Crore, while it featured a series leaderboard worth ₹1.5 Crore GTD. The leaderboard would pay out the 20 places, with ₹30 Lakh up top for the Player of the Series.
Vinay Rajpal topped the leaderboard with 19,989.38 points to take home ₹30 Lakh along with the Player of the Series title. Anuj Yadav finished second with 17,467.63 points and cashed ₹20 Lakh, while four-time IOPC leaderboard winner and defending champion Bhanu Prakash, with 17,166.32 points, settled at the second runner-up place for ₹18 Lakh.
