Tuesday Round up: Anmol Agarwal, Rubin Labroo And Others Clinch Top Titles!


Yesterday many players were active on the online felts looking to ship high-value tournaments. While events ran till the early hours of the morning, only a few players emerged victorious. Anmol Agarwal, Rubin Labroo, Sahil Mahboobani among others were the big winners. For the full report, read below.

Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack event was an intense battle as the tournament ran through the night. The ₹3,300 buy-in event had 479 total entries. The event ended with the top 47 players finishing in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹8,550. Mega Stackconcluded after a deal was made between online reg Anmol Agarwal aka ‘Bullslayer’ and Parminder Randhava aka ‘Bounceez.’ They took home ₹2,11,449 and ₹2,04,226 in prize money, respectively.

The Mint – ₹14 Lakh GTD

The poker action was intense on Adda52 as the brand hosted its staple tournament —The Mint. The event had a field of 391 total entries and a buy-in of ₹3,850. Out of these entries, the top 43 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹7,700. Nitesh Durgappa Mallanar aka ‘MallaNi’ shipped the tournament and pocketed ₹3,47,200. Player ‘erace’ was the runner-up who walked home with ₹2,10,000.

PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour tourney was a crowd puller which attracted a total of 359 entries. With a buy-in of ₹3,850 and a final prize pool of ₹12.57 Lakh, this tournament was a hit. The top 45 players finished in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹7,036. India Poker Championship (IPC) January 2020 winner, Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkid’ clinched the title spot. This poker pro added ₹2,64,000 to his bankroll. In the runner-up position we have Anant Purohit aka ‘Pro_Pro’ who walked away with ₹1,85,000 in prize money.

The Bounty Builder event on PokerStars was infused with action the entire night and had a total of 134 entries. The ₹7,700 buy-in event was flocked with top poker pros looking to ship the title. The top 17 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹8,769. In the winning seat was player Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘inaboobham’ who knocked out his opponents and took home ₹2,39,158 in prize money. Following him was Tanmay Benara aka ‘tanmay1909’ who finished in the runner up position for ₹1,36,984.
