Triton Poker Series is one of the most popular high stakes poker series in the world. The super high roller series is a brilliant opportunity to grab some eye-popping prize money. The event welcomes high-stakes grinders and recreational players with heavy-duty bankrolls. For many in the poker fraternity, the name Triton Poker Series is synonymous with luxury and prestige.
Triton Poker Series was launched in 2016 by Malaysian businessman and poker player Richard Yong with Paul Phua. Since then, the series has hosted over 15 editions across the globe, including the Philippines, Montenegro, Macau, Jeju Island, London, Madrid, Cyprus and Vietnam.
Several poker players have taken home the prestigious Triton Poker titles. However, there are only two players in the world who have managed to win four titles each, and that’s the highest number of Triton Poker titles won. These two players are Jason Koon and Mikita Badziakouski. Similarly, only two players so far have won the Triton Poker Main Event twice. Interestingly, one of them is Badziakouski, and the second is the founder Yong’s son Wai Kin Yong.

Bryn Kenny
This name does not come as a surprise, as Bryn Kenny has registered several wins and cashes at this high-stakes tournament series. Kenny ranks at the numero uno spot in The pro who was accused of cheating, has two Triton Poker titles and nine in-the-money (ITM) finishes in his career and sits atop the All Time Money List of Triton Poker Series. He won both his titles – No-Limit Hold’em Six Max and NLH Main Event, in the same Montenegro edition in 2019. He has amassed $30,373,405 in earnings from the series. The New York resident has played almost every series held so far. He is also the second wealthiest poker player in the world, according to Hendon Mob’s All Time Money list.
Aaron Zang
Aaron Zang’s Triton Poker Series marksheet shows one winning title and two ITM finishes. The Chinese player won the Triton Million for Charity event at Triton Poker Series held in London in 2019. His second cash also came from the same edition at Short Deck Ante Only Les Ambassadeurs Private Event wherein he finished third. He won the second Triton Poker title of his career at the Triton Poker Vietnam 2023 series in March 2023. He took down the Short Deck Main Event and cashed $1,544,000. He boasts a second-best of $19,547,439 earnings from the Triton Poker series through three of his cashes. According to Hendon Mob, Zang is the wealthiest player in China.
Jason Koon
Jason Koon takes the third spot on Triton Poker’s All-Time Money List with the highest number of titles with five Triton Poker titles and the most number of cashes with the highest of 28 cashes at the series. His five Triton titles include No Limit Hold’em – Short Deck Ante Only 1M at Triton Poker Series Montenegro in 2019, No Limit Hold’em – Short Deck Ante Only, No Limit Hold’em – Triton Refresh at Triton Poker Series in Jeju in 2019, the No Limit Short Deck Hold’em Ante Only at Triton Poker Series Madrid 2022 and 50K NLH Turbo event at Triton Poker Vietnam 2023. The Canadian resident flaunts the third-highest sum of $16,791,352 as earnings from Triton Poker Series, and ranks sixth on Hendon Mob’s All Time Money list.
Paul Phua
Co-founder of Triton Poker Series Paul Phua takes the fourth spot on Triton Poker’s All Time Money list with cummulative earnings of $15,246,382 won by playing at the series. He has one Triton poker title which he won after taking down the No Limit Hold’em – 7-Handed event at Triton Poker Series Madrid in 2022. Phua holds the record of most cashes by any player at the series with 27 cashes to his name. Phua ranks number one on Malaysia’s All-Time Money list according to Hendon Mob.
Mikita Badziakouski
Four Triton Poker title holder and two-time Triton Main Event winner Mikita Badziakouski sits at the fifth spot at Triton Poker’s All Time Money list. His four titles and 14 cashes at the series have earned the Belarus-based player a total of $14,918,717 from the series. The number one player on Belarus’ All Time Money list, ranks ninth in Hendon Mob’s All Time Money List.
Badziakouski made headlines by winning two back-to-back Triton Poker Main Events held in 2018. The series hosted two editions that year, first in Montenegro and later in Jeju Island, and Badziakouski won both the Main Events. Badziakouski’s other two titles include Short Deck No Limit Hold’em at Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro in 2019 and No Limit Hold’em 7-Handed at Triton Poker Series Madrid in 2022.
Stephen Chidwick
England’s Stephen Chidwick is one of the most popular names in the Triton Poker circuit and ranks sixth on Triton Poker’s All Time Money list. The Triton Poker Madrid 2022 Short Deck Main Event winner only has one title to his name, which he won at the Triton Poker Series Madrid in May 2022, including the 14 cashes at the series accounting to $13,580,452 in earnings. According to Hendon Mob, apart from ranking on the top spot of the England All Time Money List, Chidwick is the fourth most wealthiest player on the global All Time Money List.
Dan Smith
The seventh player on the list is America’s Dan Smith. Interestingly, Smith is the only player among the top 10 on Triton Poker’s All Time Money List who does not even have a single title at the series. All he has is just four cashes at the series which earned him an impressive amount of $10,840,516 to help him rank among the top 10 Main Event winners.
According to Hendon Mob, the 34-year-old Smith is the sixth richest player in the USA, apart from being the eighth richest player worldwide.
Wai Kin Yong
Founder Richard Yong’s son Wai Kin Yong, is one of the most notable names in the Triton Poker Series not because of his father but because of the results he has achieved. He won the Main Event of the inaugural Triton Poker Series held in 2016 in the Philippines. Later he shipped another Main Event in 2019 in London. The 31-year-old Yong has a total of three Triton Poker titles, including two Main Event titles and Super High Roller at Triton Poker Series Manila in 2016, along with 11 cashes. All these results have helped him earn $10,070,051 from the high stakes series.
Yong is the sixth richest player in Malaysia as per Hendon Mob records.
Fedor Holz
German player Fedor Holz won the first-ever Triton Poker title from the No Limit Hold’em event, which was held as a part of the WPT National Philippines Season in 2016. The Pokercode founder Holz has one more title at the Triton Poker Series – No Limit Hold’em from the Montenegro edition in 2017. And the eight other cashes he made at the 2017 edition.
Apart from ranking number one of Germany’s All Time Money List, Holz also ranks 11th among the global All Time Money List according to Hendon Mob. He ranks ninth on Triton Poker’s All Time Money List with a total earning of $9,043,287 from the series.
Sam Greenwood
Finally, Sam Greenwood takes the 10th place on Triton Poker’s All Time Money List. Canada’s second richest player is the 17th wealthiest player on the All Time Money List of Hendon Mob. At the Triton Poker Series, he has one title, which he nailed at the No Limit Short Deck Hold’em – Ante Only Single Bullet event at Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Cyprus in 2022. Apart from this title, he has 16 cashes at the series since 2018.
