Santhosh Suvarna Finishes 3rd In Triton Monte Carlo 125K NLH ME

Indian businessman and poker sensation, Santhosh Suvarna has once again booked a spectacular finish at the Triton Poker Series Monte Carlo 2023. The poker player had made the final table in the $125K NLH Main Event and eventually finished third for a massive payday of $1,772,000. 

This is Suvarna’s best tournament-career score so far. The player who hails from Mangalore had the eight highest stack (2,400,000 / 24BB) heading into the final table. From there on, Suvarna kept spinning the game in his favour and ultimately took the third position in the game. For the Dubai-based poker player, this was another brilliant display of poker skills after he shipped a Triton Poker title at the Cyprus stop of the poker series.

Triton Poker Series – $125K NLH Main Event 

This event had some heavy weights grinding for the top spot. Spanish pro Adrian Mateos was chip leading for the major part of the tournament. Justin Bonomo, Chris Brewer, Nick Petrangelo also made sure that competition was intense. Suvarna fell at the hands of Mateos who hit a straight flush against the former’s ace-high flush.

The Indian pro who in May 2023 had nailed the $25K NLH GG Super Millions event for his then career best score, would have missed out on grinding at Triton’s Monte Carlo stop owing to visa issues. But destiny had other plans for Suvarna, who showcased some incredible moves on the poker table at Triton Poker Monte Carlo 2023.

Coming to the winner of this super high stakes game, Matthias Eibinger won the tournament. He took a pay cheque of $3,461,261. The winner of the $125 NLH ME also received a Jacob and Co. timepiece. Luxury brand Bombay also offered the newly crowned champion a two-day stay for him and up to five friends on the exclusive Bombay yacht. The runner-up Mateos added $3,120,739 to his bankroll for this impressive finish.
