The festive season has given way to a slew of high-value tournaments running on top platforms like Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, Adda52, and PokerStars. The Diwali Celebrations Series kicked off on Spartan Poker last night with players flocking to get their hands on the prize pool. PokerStars also hosted its usual Sunday Special tournament along with a PokerStars Player’s Championship (PSPC) Mega Path satellite tourney that would give six winners a full package entry to the PSPC Main Event. Let’s take a look at the winners of last night’s high-octane action.

The final prize pool was ₹11,93,500 which surpassed the original guarantee. The top 27 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹11,935. Sanket Jain aka ‘cowboy12’ shipped the event, which was the first of the day and walked home with ₹2,64,360 in prize money. Yash Chitre aka ‘Babyshark10’ was the runner-up for ₹1,78,428.
The DCS High Sunday Celebration had 218 unique entries, 70 re-entries, and 123 re-buys. The event surpassed its initial guarantee, and the final prize pool is ₹41,10,000. The event was shipped by player ‘Strangler’ for ₹7,17,036. The runner-up was Buhr Advirkar aka ‘C@rnage’ who walked home with ₹5,43,255.
The DCS Mid Main Event had ₹25 Lakh in guarantee, and there were 816 unique players, 355 re-entries, and 532 re-buys that participated. The ₹1,650 buy-in event surpassed its guarantee, and the final prize pool was ₹25,54,500. It was Rishabh Gupta aka ‘radda’ who went home with ₹3,67,259 in his pockets. The DCS High Sunday Big had a ₹30 Lakh guarantee which was crushed, and the final prize pool was ₹37,50,000. There were 70 unique players, 20 re-entries, and 35 re-entries that participated in the ₹33,000 buy-in event. The event title was grabbed by ‘0mg_spew’ for ₹8,55,549. The runner-up was Pranav Bang aka ‘Waking Up’ for ₹8,18,825. A deal way made between the two players.
The DCS High Mukkamaar had a ₹20 Lakh guarantee which was crushed. The final prize pool was ₹23,55,000. There were 235 runners, 74 re-entries, and 162 re-buys. Poker pro Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ shipped the event for ₹2,36,088. The runner-up was Harsh Bubna aka ‘Chiraunjihal Khosla’ who had a payday of ₹1,56,960.
The ₹50 Lakh guarantee DCS High Diwali Dynamite Day 2 concluded with player ‘Whale Machi’ taking home the top prize of ₹11,22,632. The runner-up was Adithya N G aka ‘AdiNG1’ who walked away with ₹6,84,039. The top 111 places were paid. The min-cash was ₹14,857.
The Superstack on PokerBaazi was shipped by Vinay Verma aka ‘keechad’ for ₹4,92,000. The runner-up was Anirudh Kumar aka ‘pokergod17’ had a payday of ₹4,12,000. The final prize pool was ₹32,70,000 which crushed the event’s guarantee.
The HighRoller on PokerBaazi was shipped by Rajesh Kumar Shukla aka ‘intervntion’ who went home with ₹6,30,000. The runner-up was Aayush Arya aka ‘Learnnwin’ who walked away with ₹4,42,000 in prize money. The event’s final prize pool was ₹28,50,000 which crushed the advertised guarantee.
The daily Value Boost on PokerBaazi drew in 517 unique players, and 451 re-entries. The event was shipped by Sanjay Chaudury aka ‘raskolnikov’ for ₹1,66,000. The runner-up was Kovid Saraswat aka ‘fzzzyyy’ who went home with ₹1,16,000 in prize money.
The Adda52 Sunday Showdown was shipped by Ashutosh Balodhi aka ‘senojwod’ for ₹1,69,747. The runner-up was Akshay Gupta aka ‘darulerofall’ who took home ₹1,65,789 in prize money. The ₹2,750 buy-in event and the final prize pool was ₹10,00,003. There were 158 unique entries, and 127 re-entries.
Mega Suits on Adda52 was shipped by Devrat Singh aka ‘Vivkypune’ for ₹6,12,500. The runner-up was Ashit Sharma aka ‘nexus010’ who walked away with ₹3,62,500. There were 240 unique players, and 217 re-entries.
The Adda52 Millions had a ₹25 Lakh guarantee and the event was shipped by Sanket Jain aka ‘cowboy12’ who shipped his second tournament of the day for ₹5,79,372. The runner-up was Nitesh Katiyar aka ‘nitkat’ who walked home with ₹4,87,178. There were 158 unique players, and 99 re-entries.
Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ shipped the Sunday Special Progressive on PokerStars and took home ₹1,72,360 in bounty money and ₹1,26,485 from the prize pool. IOPC Main Event winner Vaibhav Temani aka ‘Tems30’ was the runner-up and won ₹49,941 in bounty money, and ₹1,26,484 in prize pool money. There were 157 unique player, and 137 re-entries that participated in the event.
The PSPC event offered the winner a full Platinum Pass package worth to the PSPC Main Event in the Bahamas. It was WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer aka ‘abhi58’ who shipped the event and won ₹1,20,000 and will now be heading to the Bahamas to play the live event. Players who walked away with a min-cash of ₹1,20,000 were Kanchan Sharma aka ‘thandicoke,’ and Karan Radia aka ‘The Annihilator’ among others.
