Phil Hellmuth Welcomes NBA Champion Tony Parker To WSOP ME

The poker fever is at an all-time high with the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) drawing in thousands of poker players from across the world. With flights for the WSOP Main Event (ME) already kicking off, it’s not surprising to see that the live poker felts are also flooded with world-famous personalities. Just a few hours ago, poker legend Phil Hellmuth welcomed four-time NBA champion, Tony Parker to the WSOP Main Event.

Hellmuth, who recently clinched his 16th record-breaking  WSOP bracelet, posted a picture of him and Parker on Instagram with the caption, “Welcome to @WSOP Main Event @TonyParker! A 4-time NBA Champion, and more importantly, a really really good guy. Good luck in WSOP Main tonight Tony, and let’s play some blackjack later tonight #POSITIVITY #PHNiceLife.”

The basketball star was seen wearing a black WSOP hoodie to show off his excitement at the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world. The basketball champion will mark his debut at 2021 WSOP ME. With both men being absolute legends in their own way, 2021 WSOP ME will be a firecracker for sure.

Another interesting fact about Tony Parker’s appearance in WSOP is that he qualified for the event by winning the PM Group’s Texas Hold’em Charity Poker back in January 2021. This win earned him an invitation to the 2021 WSOP Main Event.

With each passing day, it seems like no one can get enough of the WSOP action. India too has one of its players, Vidur Sethi looking to grab the WSOP bracelet as he progressed to Day 2 after a successful Day 1A. The final day of 2021 WSOP ME will take place on 17th November. This means the next few days are going to be a wild ride for players looking to win the most sought after WSOP Main Event gold bracelet.
