Phil Hellmuth To Lock Horns With Neymar Jr. In Paris?

Poker pro Phil Hellmuth is certainly having a hard time after his record-breaking live loss. He recently lost the biggest pot of his life during a live stream at Hustler Casino Live (HCL). Post the loss; he returned home. But guess what?! The 16-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner has returned to the Sin City. 

He recently shared a video on Instagram, where he’s seen hanging around with Rob Yong. In the video Hellmuth shared how much he admires Yong. In the caption, ‘Poker Brat’ mentioned that he would be meeting in the coming April, wherein they will have dinner and play poker along with football star Neymar Jr. He will then film three live stream games at Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) Poker Club in Nottingham, England.

In the video, he also revealed that he recently landed in Las Vegas and went to the Aria islands hoping to see Rob Yong. And he did meet Yong but in a rather saddened state. He saw Yong sitting quietly because he lost JJ against AJ with an Ace on the board. He lost a pot worth $370,000.

Hellmuth adds that he gave Yong a big hug and told him that he was a great guy. Yong was upset due to the loss; however, he recovered within just 10 minutes. Hellmuth further says, “He (Yong) is not feeling very great about it but has handled himself with such class.”

Meanwhile, Hellmuth has decided to turn to cash games after his record-breaking loss at Hustler Casino Live. He is currently grinding at Hustler Casino Live’s No Gamble, No Future. On the other hand, Neymar Jr. is currently grinding at European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris 2023. He recently finished 49th at the €10,200 Mystery Bounty tournament.
