Phil Hellmuth Is Taking The No Gamble, No Future Route After Losing A Record Sum

Hope you’ve read the headline correctly. If yes, then you know this is probably the best news you will hear today! The 16-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner has finally decided to get back into cash games after losing a record-setting sum just recently. Let us give you a bit of a refresher. Phil Hellmuth was grinding at Live At The Bike and lost a sum which broke his 12 year loss record. He tweeted a lot about it, and trust us he did not even wait for the live stream to finish and gave out all the details which many users on Twitter found annoying.

The former WSOP Main Event champion made some controversial moves while grinding and lost a great deal of money. As per Hellmuth’s tweet he bankroll was down by $144,500 on Monday and $194K on Tuesday. Poker Twitter was full of updates on how the Palo Alto resident stormed off after losing monster pots. Worst came when a user named Bart Hanson shared a video from the stream where it looked like Hellmuth misread his hole cards. All hell broke loose when Hellmuth tweeted saying he thought he had an AT when the truth was he had KT. That’s all it took for the users and haters to know that this poker legend had actually messed up.

Even six-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu was convinced about Hellmuth misreading his hand and said it happens to the best players and wanted to break down this controversial hand Hellmuth played against a player named JD.

Come to the present time, Hellmuth looks like he’s all set to return to live streamed cash games and will mark his attendance at Hustler Casino Live’s No Gamble, No Future. You know Hustler Casino Live’s history? Yeah, it is the same spot where Garrett Adelstein got the shock of his life when Robbi Jade Lew called his 8-high bluff with a J-high and won.
