Mystery Players Slay The Virtual Felts To Ship Top Titles


Monday night action on the virtual felts was low-key but not dull. Iron Man on Adda52 and The Big Show on PokerBaazi, made sure players were on their toes. Mystery players made their presence felt by grabbing winning titles yesterday. Let’s quickly run through what went down last night.

Iron Man – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s staple Iron Man crushed the initial guarantee as the final prize pool stood at ₹9,02,000. The min-cash at this tourney stood at ₹4,961 as the top 49 places out of the 451 entries made it in the money.

Mystery player ‘Samimeel’ shipped the tourney for ₹2,20,990. At the runner-up spot, ‘haldkarvikash’ took home ₹1,30,790 in prize money. Debneil Mukherjee (6th, ₹31,570), Mohit Mehta (15th, ₹9,020), Devrat Singh (22nd, ₹6,765), Siddharth Kadel (31st, ₹5,863), Vishal Bajaj (32nd, ₹5,863), Tanmay Benara (37th, ₹4,961), Ashish Ahuja (39th, ₹4,961), Vishnu Khandelwal (41st, ₹4,961), and Gaurav Sood (42nd, ₹4,961) were some notable names who finished in the money at this tourney.

The Big Show – ₹7.5 lakh GTD

The Big Show on PokerBaazi saw some top players grinding hard. Out of the total 443 entries, the top 54 places finished in the money. The final prize pool crushed the advertised guarantee and stood at ₹11,07,000. The min-cash stood at ₹5,090.

Anonymous player ‘openended’ topped the table and took home ₹2,23,000 in prize money. India Online Poker Championsip (IOPC) July 2021 leaderboard winner Anuj Yadav finished at the runner-up spot, and added ₹1,56,000 to his bankroll. Some of the top players like Ritwik Khanna (3rd, ₹1,00,000), FTS 3.0 Main Event winner Ankit Wadhawan (4th, ₹74,200), Tanmay Benara (7th, ₹37,210), Neel Joshi (27th, ₹7,860), Aman Parakh (29th, ₹6,870), IOPC January 2020 Millionaire Main Event winner, Anurag Srivastava (33rd, ₹6,870) and online reg Manish Lakhotia (53rd, ₹5,090) also cashed at this event.
