Kapil Arora Leads The Pack From Day 1A & B Of BPT Main Event

The ₹35K Main Event (ME) finished its two starting flights on 26th March, namely, Day 1A and Day 1B (Turbo). A total of 412 entries were registered from the two starting flights. Day 1A had 332 entries while Day 1B saw 80 entries. Kapil Arora, (478,000 chips) bagged the overall chip lead across the two flights. We asked this recreational player about his current standing in the BPT Main Event and playing live after the pandemic break.

Talking about his chip lead position, Arora said, “Happy with my position as a chip leader… still a long way to go. The tournament structure is great and the competition ahead will be intense. Looking forward to making the most of it!” Arora added, “It feels great to be back on live felts! The vibe, the energy of live poker is thrilling and I am sure everyone was missing it for the last two years.”

The top three stacks from Day 1A were Gagandeep Malik (280,200 chips) and Shashank Jain (269,400). From Day 1B, the top three stacks were Shashank Shekhar, Ankita Ajay (307,000) and Gera Abraham(226,400). Day 1C and Day 1D (Turbo) of the ME will take place today at 4 PM and 9 PM respectively. The BPT Main Event Day 2 will be hosted at 2 PM tomorrow (28th March).
