Jason Koon Crushes GGPoker’s Sunday Million Super Highroller


GGPoker’s Sunday schedule had the Sunday Million Super Highroller, which crowned Jason Koon as the winner. The tournament had a hefty buy-in of $25,500. Koon shipped the event and pocketed a massive $339,257 prize money. The runner-up in this event was Isaac Haxton who took home $320,611. Each of the final six players secured a six-figure payout. The second runner-up was Daniel Dvoress who cashed $2,90,466 in prize money. 

The top three players opted for a three-way deal. Prominent players who made it to the Final Table (FT) were Pandora-box from China, Andras Nemeth from Hungary, and “Machitos !!” from Cyprus. Pandora-box pocketed a massive $186,844 while “Machitos !!” walked away with $145,031. The bubble boy in this event was Christian Rudolph who took the ninth spot from a field of 62 players. Rudolph’s exit paved the way for the remaining eight players to grab some impressive prize money. “bill2021” got their hands on $67,828 when they busted in eighth Mikita Badziakouski fell in seventh place for $87,383 and Andras Nemeth from Hungary busted in 6th position for $112,576.

Sunday High Roller Masters was shipped by Mikita Badziakouski for $124,284. A massive 679 players grinded in this $1,050 buy-in event. The nine-handed highroller’s final prize pool came up to $679,000. Michel Dattani was the last bust-out, this Maltese star got his hands on $69,889 after he busted on the third spot. Dattani’s exit left “GiannisParios” one-on-one against Badziakouski who took the top prize. “GiannisParios” had a payday of $93,199 for his runner-up finish. 

The final table saw players Class Segebrecht, Jamil Wakil, Andreas Nasman, FIORELLO and Pascal Harthmann. Austrian player Segebrecht received a pay cheque of $12,428. Canadian poker player Wakil took home $29,472;  Andreas Nasman from Finland added $22,101 to his bankroll for his seventh place finish.
