Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 ended Day 3 with a bang. Sunday is an important day for poker players, and with FTS 3.0, the grind just got more intense on the virtual felts of Spartan Poker, BLITZPOKER and PokerHigh. Sunday tournaments witnessed some intense action and power-packed gameplay as players fought hard to grab top titles. Let’s do a quick recap of yesterday’s action.
FTS #7 had a massive player field of 1,094 entries. These players battled it out for the top spots. The event surpassed its initial guarantee by a slim margin to generate a final prize pool of ₹10,94,000. The top 103 entries made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹2,953.
Shashank Desai aka ‘reconnecting’ nailed the tourney for ₹1,69,774. Himanshu Arora aka ‘shambolic794’ finished at the runner-up spot and took home ₹1,64,223 in prize money.
India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) July 2021 Legends winner Amit Gehani finished 13th at this tourney for ₹11,487. Anirban Das finished 22nd for ₹7,111; online reg Ashish Ahuja finished 33rd for ₹4,594; Gutshot’s January 2021 e-magazine cover star Gaurav Sood finished 37th for ₹4,594 while Abhimanyu Mittal finished 38th for ₹4,594. Gutshot’s June 2021 e-magazine cover star Siddhanth Kapoor left at 44th place for ₹4,047 at this tourney.
FTS 2.0 Main Event champion Siddharth Karia busted at the 64th spot for ₹3,500. FTS 3.0 Friday Special winner Haider Madraswala busted at the 79th spot for ₹3,172; FTS 3.0 #4 winner Vinay Rajpal busted at the 63rd place for ₹3,172 and poker coach Abhishek Goindi busted at the 87th spot for ₹3,127. Surbhit Grover was the bubble boy (104th spot) in this tourney.
FTS #9 witnessed a tough battle among the top pros. 825 entries took part in this tourney. The advertised guarantee was surpassed by a thin margin as the final prize pool stood at ₹12,37,500. The min-cash was ₹4,207, and the top 79 places were paid.
Online reg Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ shipped the tourney for an impressive ₹2,37,476. Mystery player ‘Panda702’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹1,48,995.
Vivek Singh finished at the 13th spot for ₹14,602, Siddhanth Gangwar left at the 15th spot for ₹12,746, IOPC July 2021 Mastermind runner-up Avadh Shah finished 19th for ₹10,023, Siddhanth Kapoor finished 44th for ₹5,073, Abhishek Goindi finished 50th for ₹5,073 and two-time IOPC leaderboard topper Bhanu Prakash finished 79th for ₹4,207.
