The second day action of Final Table Series 3.0 (FTS 3.0) was at an all time high. The excitement surrounding the poker series coupled with the weekend, brought many players onto the online felts. There was a mad rush among players to ship titles and make the money on Spartan Poker, BLITZPOKER, and PokerHigh. The second marquee tournament, FTS #5 Saturday Special, will resume its final table today at 6 PM. The live stream for which will be broadcasted on Gutshot’s Facebook and YouTube page. Now, without further ado, let’s jump into a recap of yesterday’s action.
The FTS #4 tournament began at 6 PM yesterday with a total of 630 entries joining the high-octane action. This big player turnout along with the ₹1,650 buy-in, generated a final prize pool of ₹9,45,000 which crushed the advertised guarantee. Only the top 55 places were paid and the min-cash given was ₹4,630.
Taking the title spot was poker pro Vinay Rajpal aka ‘BeepBeepImaJeep’ added a prize money of ₹1,50,056 to his bankroll. He struck a deal with player ‘Sam3532’ who was the runner up and took home ₹1,49,508 in tournament winnings. Rajpal is no stranger to success on the online felts, as he recently shipped two APT titles and even the IOPC All Rounder title in July 2021.
It was a late start for the FTS #6 tournament, however, players continued to flock towards the event and played till the early morning hours. A sea of 625 total entries were excited to be a part of the ₹2,200 buy-in tournament. The initial guarantee for this tournament was also crushed and ₹12,50,000 was the final prize pool amount. The top 63 entries finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹5,437.
Akshit Madan aka ‘alwaysgud’ shipped the tournament earning him a prize money of ₹2,41,875. The runner up was FTS #3 winner Ashish Nailwal aka ‘notoriouskonvict1’ who took home a prize money of ₹1,52,500.
