Daniel Negreanu’s WSOP 2023 Action Sold Within Minutes?

Daniel Negreanu shared last week that he would sell 25% of his World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2023 action. The sale went live on 1st May 2023 and was sold at lightning speed. Within just a few minutes, the action was sold out.

Last week, Negreanu shared that he would be playing a total of 90 events at WSOP 2023 and spend $1.8 million in buy-ins at WSOP. The 25% pieces of his action went live on the platform on PokerStake on 1st May 2023 at 6 PM EST (3 PM PST). The minimum one could purchase was $18, with the maximum being $900. Additionally, he would charge no markup on his action pieces.

The six-time WSOP bracelet winner was actively sharing updates on his Twitter account. After the sale went live DNegs shared a Twitter post which said that 17% out of the 25% was sold out in just three minutes.

A fan named ‘Todd Hudson’ shared the same update saying, “3 mins later 80% has already sold.” (sic)

An hour later, the six-time WSOP bracelet winner shared another tweet that announced that a total of 965 people had bought pieces of his action. He also shared that the sale went live at 3 PM PST, and the last piece was sold at 3:41 PM PST.

In the post, he also shared that they expected the pieces to be sold in approximately 11 hours. However, it was sold under the predicted duration.

Well, with the kind of popularity and fondness that ‘Kid Poker’ has earned for himself, it’s not surprising to see the player being able to sell his action so quickly.
