Daniel Negreanu To Spend This Jaw-Droping Amount In Buy-Ins At WSOP 2023

The grand and much-awaited 2023 edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) is fast approaching, and poker players from all across the globe are preparing in full swing to battle at the series. And so is poker pro Daniel Negreanu.

The six-time WSOP bracelet winner has been quite vocal about his WSOP 2023 training plans. He had earlier shared that he would be training and following proper diet plans every day to prepare himself physically ahead of the series. He also shared that he would not be playing any poker events for the next month or so till the series begins. 

A few days later, he also shared a complete list of poker events that he will be playing at the upcoming series, including an astonishing 90 events. As per the latest update shared by the Canadian pro, he revealed the total amount he would be spending in buy-ins to play the WSOP events. Apparently, he will be shelling out a total of $1.8 Million in buy-ins. In his tweet, he mentioned that the $1.8 Million accounts for the maximum he would be spending and all bullets he plans to play.

Daniel Negreanu WSOP Staking

His tweet also revealed that he would be staking 25% of the total $1.8 Million package, which is approximately half a million dollars. Negreanu will be selling his action on the popular staking platform PokerStake. He further shared that his staking would go live from next week onwards.

One of the users asked DNegs how much markup he would charge on his staking, to which he replied ‘0.0,’ indicating he would not be charging any markup.

Another user enquired about the exact date when the staking would go live, to which the ‘Kid Poker’ replied, saying, “Likely May 1st.”
