Daniel Negreanu Wants Justin Bonomo To Leave Him Alone! Why?

Being number one on the all time money list (Hendon Mob) does not guarantee that you are number one on the popularity chart too. And this happened to Justin Bonomo! What are we talking about? Well, Daniel Negreanu shared a video on his Twitter handle sometime back wherein he ranked famous poker pros on a list. And what’s so special about this list you ask? The wacky categories of the list — I’m leaving the table, Leave me alone, MEH, You’re alright, I enjoy their time, and most fun. And which category did Negreanu put Bonomo in? Guess for a bit! No?

The three-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner made it to the ‘leave me alone’ category. DNegs was happily ranking players depending on how much fun the pros are on the table while grinding. Bonomo made it to the second worst category. The Canadian pro while ranking Bonomo stated that he won’t leave the table but said, “God you are annoying.” This comment by ‘KidPoker’ is a clear sign that ‘ZeeJustin’ just doesn’t have what it takes to be on the top of Negreanu’s list.

Daniel Negreanu’s post on Twitter

This doesn’t come as a surprise to us. A simple walk down memory lane will tell you why! During WSOP 2022 DNegs suffered a soul crushing bad beat at the hands of David Peters which led to Negreanu losing his cool (things were thrown at the wall and some on the floor) on the table. Bonomo did not spare a second and tweeted about Negreanu’s so-called violent behaviour. Trust us when we say, the former posted a poll on Twitter about the latter’s bad beat reaction. The Canadian pro did not take lightly to Bonomo’s social justice crusader act and defended himself. Negreanu also called Bonomo a cheater and ‘totally indoctrinated’ in his Day 27 WSOP 2022 vlog. Other pros in the list

Coming back to Negreanu’s list,  he also ranked other well-known pros like Doyle Brunson, Maria Ho, 16-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, WSOP 2022 champ Espen Jorstad, Dan Smith, Dan Coleman, Dan Zack, David Peters (DNegs called him silent assassin), Alex Foxen, Chino Reem, Erik Seidel, Fedor Holz, Jake Schindler (Negreanu added him in the ‘I’m leaving the table’ category), Phil Ivey (according to Negreanu, Ivey hates playing with him mostly because of his vlogging), Tom Dwan, Scotty Nguyen, Patrick Antonius among others.

Daniel Negreanu’s on a break

Well, we haven’t seen much of DNegs lately on the felts, but he did tweet about his post WSOP 2022 break plans. In a post shared by Negreanu on Twitter, this six-time WSOP bracelet winner wrote, “In the midst of a break since WSOP, I’ll be back at the tables in a couple weeks for HSP, PokerMasters, and SHRB. Maybe later this year I’ll do one of these wacky LA streams.”

While we all know that Negreanu couldn’t clinch any bracelets at the WSOP 2022, PokerNews.com also reported that the Canadian was down by $1.1 Million at the end of the coveted series. We would love to see DNegs bounce back like never before and clinch some heavy-duty titles including WSOP bracelets in the coming future. For more news and updates, keep reading Gutshot Magazine.
