Dan Schorr Releases New Political And Poker Fiction Novel Titled ‘Final Table’

Poker seems to currently be the hot topic for writers. Just after the first Indian poker fiction, ‘Gamble of Love’ written by author Shuklaji hit the shelves, another poker fiction has now been released. The novel titled ‘Final Table’ is written by Dan Schorr, a sex crimes prosecutor and investigator. Through this enthralling tale, Schorr takes his readers on a journey inspired by his experiences.

The book was launched on 5th October and got the entire poker and readers community talking about it. But what is it the book about? The Final Table has two main characters and is a political thriller novel. The first character is a broke professional poker player named Kyler who is desperate to try his hand at a $20 million prize pool tournament. However, the nation hosting the event is implicated in a murder of an American journalist. This results in a potential presidential order that could prevent Kyler and other US citizens from taking part in the lucrative tournament.

The second character that readers will encounter is a budding TV political analyst named ‘Maggie.’ Kyler seeks the help of Maggie to help him enter the event and promises her a portion of the enormous pay out.

Dan Schorr announced the launch of his novel through social media, giving his followers the link from which they can purchase the book.

Due to its very recent release, there are only a few reviews on the book that have been posted on Amazon and GoodReads. However, even the early reactions and reviews have all been positive. Many have called the book thrilling, engrossing while also praising all the various topics that it addresses. The novel is packed with everything from politics to high-stakes poker. Schorr has managed to weave multiple plots together and keep his readers engrossed in his storytelling through his writing.

Professional poker player and 2003 World Series of Poker champion, Chris Moneymaker also commented on the piece saying, “If you enjoy poker, you need to read Final Table.
