Asia Poker League (APL) made its debut into the Asian poker scene back in 2016, since then it has been one of the highly-anticipated live poker events in the world. Founded by Judic Kim, a Korean games promoter, the live event has garnered huge crowds of poker players from all parts of the globe.
After live poker events were shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, many of the live events were hosted online. Just this February, the APL too hosted an online series on the well-known Asian poker platform, GGPoker. Now, with COVID-19 restrictions being lifted slowly, APL is getting its live events back with a bang and they are doing a phenomenal job of giving poker players the opportunity to get back to live poker. In the past, many Indians have been a part of APL live events and it will be exciting to see more of them at APL Hanoi.

APL Hanoi 2021 is set to run from 3–11 April and will have a guaranteed prize pool worth VND 6.6 Billion (INR 2.09 Crore). For many poker players who have been looking forward to participating in live events this year, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. The venue for the APL Hanoi live event is the Grand Vista Hotel in the south-east Asian country of Vietnam. APL has partnered with Grand Loyal Club and Vietnam Series of Poker (VSOP) for this highly anticipated event.
APL has a list of feature tournaments that are bound to excite poker players who will be participating in the event. Here’s a list of the headliner tournaments that will be hosted at APL Hanoi.
