Online poker tournaments on Wednesday night saw many players flocking to top platforms like Spartan Poker, Adda52, and PokerBaazi for a piece of the action. The night continued with high-octane action, and some of India’s top pros emerged victorious online. Here are the full details of what went down.
The Wednesday High Roller on Spartan Poker welcomed 164 total entries which was made up of 84 unique entries, 37 re-entries, and 43 rebuys. The event crushed its ₹20 Lakh guarantee and the final prize pool was ₹24,60,000. The tournament had a ₹16,500 buy-in and the top 17 places finished in the money. The min-cash was ₹38,622. The event was shipped by poker pro Aayush Arya aka ‘Eureka226’ who went home with a ₹5,50,743 pay cheque. The runner-up was Laksh Pal Singh aka ‘b00mTilt23’ who took home ₹4,86,392 in prize money.
The Maverick on Adda52 had a ₹15 Lakh guarantee which drew in 278 runners and 250 re-entries. There were a total of 528 entries. The ₹2,750 buy-in event ended with 55 places paid and the min-cash was ₹5,250. It was Anmolraj Singh Chawla aka ‘anmolrajy’ who shipped the event and had a payday of ₹3,90,000. Puneet Mishra aka ‘j4jolly’ was the runner-up for ₹2,21,250.
The Pride on PokerBaazi crushed its ₹10 Lakh guarantee. A final prize pool of ₹12,11,000 was generated and the buy-in was ₹3,850. There were 174 unique players, and 172 re-entries which totalled to 346 entries. The top 45 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹6,780. Muthukumar Rajagopalan aka ‘hero1965’ clinched the title and went home with ₹2,54,000. The runner-up was player ‘anbpokarlover’ who went home with ₹1,78,000.
Another tournament on PokerBaazi was the Daily Value Boost which had a buy-in of ₹1,380. There were 388 unique players, and 343 re-entries. The top 113 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹2,500. Rohit Mishra aka ‘rohit22rm’ took home the title and walked away with ₹1,72,000. Player ‘Ssssn52’ was the runner-up and went home with ₹1,19,000 in prize money.
