2020 SCOOP: Kenny Hallaert ships third SCOOP title!

One of the great attractions PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) crowned one of the biggest names among the top 2016 WSOP Main Event final tablist Kenny Halleart aka ‘SpaceFCB’ who ran past the field on Friday to take down Event 84 after a three-way deal that saw Brazil’s ‘nefrsondaca’ in 2nd place and Romania’s ‘Glash0’ in 3rd place.

The champion tweeted, “Got my 3rd ever SCOOP win today”. Day 23 of SCOOP crowned 12 winners in total. However, Event #84: High $530 No Limit Hold’em attracted a field of 745 entries pushing past the $350,000 guarantee to create $372,500 in prize pool. After intense hours of grinding, Halleart took home $47,867 for his victory despite not collecting the biggest share of the prize pool as ‘Glash0’ held the chip lead. In the end, ‘nefrsondaca’ settled in the second place for 43K and ‘Glash0’ in the third position for $50K.

The winner sits 3rd in Belgium’s all-time money list and has accumulated over $4.32 million in total live winnings and a whopping $6.51 million in online earnings. Hallaert has cashed more than 40 times in WSOP tournaments!

Other notable players at the final table included Boris ‘komarac_zg’ Kuzmanovic (4th – $23,741), Tony ‘RunLkMercier’ Della Sciucca (6^th – $12,329), and Gerardo ‘peloin’ Hernandez (9th- $4,614).

Hallaert’s previous SCOOP victories came in 2017 and 2019. While the Belgian player was the most significant name in the list of winners, the biggest prize money of the day belonged to Austria’s ‘BigFudge95‘ who outlasted a field of 1,046 runners in Event #85 High:$1,050 NLHE PKO Thursday Thrill SE to win $73,596.76 from the $1.04 million prizepool and along with $63,900 in bounties!
