WSOP 2023 Main Event: Aditya Agarwal, Kartik Ved, And Aditya Sushant Eliminated


The World Series Of Poker (WSOP) 2023 Main Event (ME) Day 2d ended with Indian pros like Aditya Agarwal, Kartik Ved, and Aditya Sushant exiting the ME race. Other Indian players who busted Day 2d are Akshay Nasa and Rajeevan Poonhath. 

Anshul Kulshrestha (194,000) and Aditya Systla (57,000) advanced into Day 2d. There are seven Indian players who progressed in Day 3 via 2abc. Nikita Luther, Gokul Raj, Nishant Sharma, Sanat Mehrotra among others made Day 3.

Luther was the 10th highest stack advancing into Day 3 from Day 2abc. The female pro has 572,500 chips in her kitty to battle it out for the top spot. 

The WSOP 2023 ME broke the 2006 record by registering 10,043 entries and generating a prize pool of $93,399,900. The winner of the prestigious ME will have a payday of $12,100,000. The second place finisher will get a pay cheque of $6,500,000.

The min-cash at the WSOP 2023 ME settled at $15,000. The final table will see the 9th place take home $900,000. When it comes to WSOP 2023 ME Day 2d, Maurice Hawkins from the United States ended the day with the highest stack of 941,000 chips. Another player who is grabbing headlines owing to his play at the ME is Nicholas Rigby (United States) with a stack of 921,500. 

Highly acclaimed poker pro Tom Dwan made a fashionably late entry. Sadly for this cash game legend, he busted. Day 3 will resume on 9th July at 12 PM local time (12:30 AM IST). 

17-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth also exited the ME race. Daniel Negreanu also couldn’t beat competition either and was eliminated. DNegs’ frenemy Doug Polk will grind on Day 3 with a stack of 433,000 chips.
