WSOP 2023: Ashish Ahuja Narrowly Misses The Bracelet; Finishes Runner-Up At Online Event

Indian poker pro Ashish Ahuja, who is currently in Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker (WSOP), was recently grinding at Online Bracelet Event #18: $2,000 Freezeout Championship. The pro finished second, narrowly missing his career-first WSOP gold bracelet. Had Ahuja claimed the title, it would have been India’s first bracelet this season.

Ahuja was sharing details about his progress at the event on his Instagram stories. He achieved quite some knockouts, including that of six-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu.

Finally, he shared a story about his unfortunate runner-up finish that read, “GG guys, Couldn’t close it down. 2nd. Couldn’t win a single all in in HU. Thanks for the rail. Much appreciated. On to the next one.” (sic.)

Good run, Ashish! Keep crushing!
