What makes every victory sweeter? The reward! If a glass of wine was the win, then the reward would be cheese. And if the reward is a diamond-studded 14K gold, it just makes it all the more sweeter. We’re talking about the prestigious World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet.
Every poker player dreams of owning the shiny bracelet, and adding a WSOP title to their poker record. But did you know the bracelet design changes every year? The signature bracelet retains some of its features but the overall design of the bracelet is given a new twist every year.
The WSOP 2022 bracelet design is as stunning as ever. And believe us, it’s hard to get your eyes off this beautiful piece of jewellery. This year’s bracelet is more chunkier and stunning. The signature elements like the hearts, spades, diamonds, and club suits retain their place in the new bracelet. Additionally, the year 2022 has been made prominent in this year’s bracelet.
The annual series has a new venue for this year’s edition – Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. WSOP’s new home marks a new journey for the WSOP, and the new beginning seems to reflect in the bracelet too.

This year’s bracelet also brings back the classic design that spells out the words ‘World Series of Poker,’ as against just the abbreviations in the recent past. The 2012 WSOP bracelet was the last bracelet to feature the words in full. It is safe to say that this year’s bracelet screams evolution and growth.
Last year’s bracelet signified WSOP’s return after a year’s gap. The 2021 bracelet was slimmer and lighter than the latest one. Last year, the bracelet was also more detailed than the new one. While it had the year engraved on one side, the other side had the name of the poker variant mentioned.
Five years ago the bracelet was similar to that of the 2021 bracelet. However, it had smaller lettering. It had two rubies and two black diamonds embedded in each of the four suits. It was customised so that each bracelet would have the number of the corresponding event engraved on the side. The bracelets between 2017 to 2021 had several iterations of the 2017 bracelet.
While WSOP opted for lighter bracelets over the past few years, a decade ago, the bracelets were chunkier just like the 2022 bracelet. The 2012 bracelet had a detachable strap that could be attached to any wrist-wear. How cool is that?! It had a heavy face and spelled out the name ‘World Series of Poker’ just like the 2022 bracelet. While black diamonds were filled in the spade and club shapes, the hearts and diamonds were represented by crystal clear jewels instead of red. Interestingly the word ‘Poker’ was red, which made a bold statement.
All being said and done, the WSOP is yet to release the much-awaited Main Event bracelet for this year. Looking at the current bracelet, we can expect it to be a heavy piece. All we know is that the bracelet will scream prestige and capture the significance of the Main Event Champion in its totality.
