WSOP 2021: Abhinav Iyer Makes It To Day 5 Of The Main Event!

Abhinav Iyer progresses to Day 5 of the World Series of Poker 2021 (WSOP). After Kalyan Chakravarthy busted at the 367th spot for $30,000, Iyer was the only Indian player standing. The action at the WSOP 2021 shows no sign of slowing. Day 4 of the Main Event (ME) also witnessed some nail-biting action. This year, the Indian contingent has seen some spectacular performances from players like WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer, Vidur Sethi, Shashank Jain, Muskan Sethi, Dhaval Mudgal, Abhishek Goindi, among others.

Abhinav Iyer is slogging hard to keep India’s WSOP bracelet dream alive. Among the first ones to exit Day 4 were Indian players Yudhishter Jaswal in 567th place for $21,600, Vidur Sethi in 632nd for $20,000, and Shashank Jain in 862nd place for $15,000. Even though these players will not advance further, they made relatively deep runs in the tournament.

The hope for the coveted gold bracelet now lies on Iyer’s shoulders. The WSOP bracelet winner is now battling it out on the live felts at the Rio All-Suites Hotel in Las Vegas. With Iyer making headway in WSOP 2021’s Main Event, it feels like a gold bracelet is almost coming home. However, we’ll just have to wait and see.
