Phil Hellmuth Makes A Gandalf Grand Entrance To 2021 WSOP Main Event

While many think of comic cons or Halloween when it comes to costumes and making heads turn. The corridors of the Rio All-Suite Hotel are not completely unfamiliar with the idea of eye-popping costumes. Every year the WSOP is greeted to not only exciting poker action but also some eye-catching entrances from Poker Hall of Famer, Phil Hellmuth.

Staying true to his yearly tradition at WSOP, Hellmuth was seen making a grand entrance on Day 1 of the WSOP Main Event. With reporters and cameras eagerly waiting for his appearance, the poker player did not disappoint when he appeared fully dressed as none other than Gandalf from Lord of the Rings. ith a white robe, a flowing white beard, and an entire entourage of girls behind him, Hellmuth sent folks around him into a dizzy If anyone knows how to make heads turn, it’s this 16-time WSOP bracelet winner.

Back in 2018, Hellmuth made his entrance as the Marvel superhero Thor. In an interview at the time, he expressed he wanted to make an entry as Gandalf but would save it for a later time. Looks like this WSOP bracelet winner finally made time and championed his Gandalf look for all to see.  Hellmuth also made an entrance as a boxer in the 2010 WSOP.
