WPT World Championship Returns With Satellites And Qualifiers Starting At Just $5
The World Poker Tour (WPT) recently announced its second edition of the WPT World Championship. The inaugural edition was held in December 2022. What’s more special is that this edition will allow players from all across the globe to win their way to the WPT World Championship.
The Championship Series will allow players to win their way to the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas, which is the largest guaranteed prize pool tournament in the world. Players can win their seats for as little as $5 via the WPT Global satellites and qualifiers.
The WPT will host daily satellites from 23rd July 2023 onwards. Similarly, the qualifiers begin on 6th August 2023.

WPT World Championship Satellites
Satellite events to the WPT World Championship begin from 23rd July 2023. The buy-in for these satellites starts at just $5, thus allowing players to win their seats into the WPT World Championship Sunday qualifiers.
WPT World Championship Qualifiers
The WPT World Championship will also have direct qualifiers, wherein players can win a free seat directly into the event. These will be held every Sunday, starting 6th August. The qualifiers have buy-in ranging between $220 to $1,060.
Winners of the WPT World Championship will receive packages worth $12,400. This will include a tournament worth $10,400 and a $2,000 travel stipend.
The first-ever WPT World Championship was held in December 2022 at Wynn Las Vegas. The series offered a recorded $15 Million guarantee which almost doubled, with the series registering a final prize pool of more than $29 Million. Naturally, the 2023 edition is expected to be even larger.
The 2023 WPT World Championship is all set to be hosted between 29th November to 20th December 2023. The Main Event will run from 12th December to 20th December 2023, which will have a buy-in of $10,400. The entire schedule has not yet been revealed by WPT.
