WPT Prime Cambodia 2022: Kunal Patni Leads The Player Of The Festival Leaderboard

The ongoing World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Cambodia 2022 is turning out to be one of the best series for the Indian contingent. So far, five Indians namely, Ashish Munot, Kunal Patni, Akshay Kapoor, Spartan Poker pro Zarvan Tumboli, and Shardul Parthasarathi, have already clinched top titles at the series. And as per the latest update from the series, three Indians are currently among the top 10 places at the Player of the Festival leaderboard.

Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni is currently leading the leaderboard with 600 points. 50 points behind is Russia’s Semen Kapitonov with 550 points. Vietnam’s Trong Hieu Ngo sits at the fourth spot with 525 points. Ngo is followed by India’s Akshay Kapoor with 450 points at the fourth spot and South Korea’s Cho Seong Min with 425 points at the fifth spot. Apart from the top five, Ashish Munot is also among the top 10. Munot stands at the ninth position with 300 points. 

WPT shared the leaderboard rankings via a story on their official Instagram account. They tagged Patni in the story saying “@Kunal_Patni leads the Player of the Festival leaderboard!’ (sic). Patni reshared the story on his personal handle.

WPT Prime Player of the Festival points are awarded to players depending on two variables, namely the total prize pool of each eligible event and the buy-in category.

The WPT Prime Cambodia 2022 series runs until 23rd August 2022, and the winner of the series will be decided after the series concludes. We wish all the Indian players all the very best for the upcoming events at the series, and the Player of the Festival leaderboard.
