Wednesday Flagships: Shrey Baj Is Crushing It Online


On Wednesday, Adda52 and PokerBaazi host several high-value events. Among the tournaments we’ve written about, PokerBaazi’s THC Deepstack attracted 1,360 entries which had the maximum entries, and eventually a massive a field. Shrey Baj, Sanat Mehrotra, and Siddharth Kadel, among others, cashed yesterday. Keep reading to know more about the events that were hosted yesterday.

Maverick – ₹15 Lakh GTD

The maverick tournament on Adda52 attracted 617 entries, comprising 342 unique and 274 re-entries. The top 63 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹3,856. The tournament was shipped by a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘avd2991995’ and pocketed ₹3,93,338. The runner-up in this event was also a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Rishabhharsh’ and cashed ₹2,23,663.

The Pride – ₹10 Lakh GTD

This event was shipped by a mystery player, ‘bblackdegen’ who fired three bullets and took home ₹2,76,000. The runner-up in this event was Sanat Mehrotra, aka ‘mehro2511’, who took home ₹1,93,000. The top 45 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹7,370. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed, and the final prize pool stood at ₹13,16,000.

THC #78 Deepstack ₹15 Lakh GTD

The ₹1,100 buy-in Deepstack tournament on PokerBaazi had 1,360 entries in total. The field of this tournament was massive as 696 unique players tried their hand, and there were 664 re-entries. The top 221 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹1,950. The event was a deal between Shrey Baj aka ‘kingsb30,’ Siddharth Kadel aka ‘CARDashian66’ and an anonymous player who goes by the moniker ‘jasonroyce.’ While crushing events on PokerBaazi, Baj is also actively grinding in the ongoing India Online Poker Championship (IOPC). He shipped the IOPC #16 event and cashed ₹1,59,104.
