VPL Hanoi 2024: Navkiran Singh Nails Super Deepstack

Baazi Games’ Founder and CEO, Navkiran Singh has shipped the top title in the Super Deepstack tournament at the ongoing Vietnam Poker League (VPL) Hanoi 2024. The businessman cum poker player struck an ICM deal and ultimately grabbed the trophy and a pay cheque of LP 555,000,000. Singh defeated Vietnam’s Huy Phong. The runner-up added a sum of LP 360,000,000 for his second place finish. 

The final table of this LP 8,800,000 buy-in tournament also featured poker dynamo Raghav Bansal. This former DPT Main Event champion took the seventh position for LP 82,000,000. 

 Apart from the above two Indians, the Super Deepstack tourney also had Dhaval Mudgal participating for a shot at the top prize. The Pocket52 Pro added a sum of LP 35,000,000 for his 13th place.

VPL Hanoi 2024 – Super Deepstack

This event had a starting stack of 50K with the late registration ending at the beginning of Level 12. The Super Deepstack had total entries of 323. The final prize pool in this tourney stood at LP 2,506,480,000. The top 40 places got paid and the min-cash paid was LP 14,000,000.

VPL Summer Series Hanoi 2024  

Talking about Indians grinding at the VPL Hanoi 2024 series, we have pros like Jasven Saigal, IOPC Main Event champion—Laksh Pal Singh, Harshdev Jhirmiria, Jatin Sablani, Avneesh Munjal, and Sumit Sapra among others. 

Talking about India’s tally at the series, we have Avneesh Munjal, who shipped the title spot at the Short Deck event. He is the first player from the Indian contingent who nailed a trophy. After Navkiran Singh’s victory at the Super Deepstack tournament, we are hoping for more wins to follow in the coming days.
