Velocity Gaming To Add ‘DeathMaker’ From GodLike Esports To Its Valroant Roster?

With an aim of strengthening their Valorant presence in the Indian esports arena, Velocity Gaming is all set to take another crucial step. The esports organization is reportedly said to acquire pro Valorant player, Debanjan Das aka ‘DeathMaker.’

A TalkEsports report suggests that the deal has already been made for an undisclosed amount. It also suggests that Velocity gaming has paid the amount to GodLike Esports to acquire the star player.

Das was a part of GodLike Esports and has registered some notable win for the team. He was formerly a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) player, but owing to the rising popularity of Valorant, he shifted to the new game.

Over the past few months, Velocity Gaming has undergone significant changes. Key player Karan Mhaswadkar aka ‘Excali’ exited the organization and joined Samurai Esports. His place was filled in by Agneya Koushik aka ‘Marzil.’

Similarly, another key player, Sabyasachi Bose aka ‘Antidote’ also quit the organization to join GodLike Esports. Later, Mohit Wakle aka ‘mw1’ replaced Antidote just ahead of  Valorant Conquerors Championship 2021.
