Jesse Lonis added another trophy to his collection with a victory in Event #2: $10,100 NL Hold’em at the US Poker Open 2024. Lonis topped the 99-entry field to win $252,450. To make the win even sweeter, Lonis won the event with a straight flush. Lonis entered Wednesday’s final table with the chip lead and eliminated all six of his opponents on the way to the winner’s circle.

The victory catapulted Lonis to the top of the U.S. Poker Open leaderboard. Then he went and signed up for Event #3: $10,100 NL Hold’em and maneuvered his way to the final table in that event. In Event #3, Lonis will return to action on Thursday sitting in fourth place with seven players remaining.
